Routine Maintenance

 

Routine maintenance is the simplest yet most important. It involves checking fuel level, engine oil level, coolant level, and battery electrolyte level; troubleshooting any faults, leaks, or abnormal phenomena observed during diesel engine operation; and inspecting and cleaning debris and dust from the intercooler and radiator.

 

Level 1 Maintenance (2500 km or 60 hours of cumulative work)

 

Level 1 maintenance at Yunnei requires cleaning the oil filter, diesel filter, and air filter (commonly known as the three filters) and their elements. The oil filter element is replaced every 5000 km, along with the engine oil in the oil pan, and the oil pan and oil pump suction plate are cleaned.

 

Level 2 Technical Maintenance (10,000 km or 250 hours of accumulated work)

 

Level 2 maintenance, in addition to Level 1 maintenance, also requires changing the engine oil in the fuel injection pump and governor, replacing the diesel and air filter elements, and cleaning the intercooler to remove sludge.

 

Level 3 Technical Maintenance (25,000 km or 500 hours of accumulated work)

 

After 25,000 km, in addition to Level 2 maintenance, it requires cleaning the cooling system, checking the fuel injector injection pressure and atomization quality, checking the tightness of the main bearing bolts, connecting rod bolts, and cylinder head bolts, and, depending on the situation, determining whether cylinder head disassembly for valve grinding, fuel injection pump calibration, oil pump disassembly and inspection, and replacement of some wear parts are necessary.

 

The earliest of the vehicle mileage and working hours should be used as the reference. Experienced drivers can make minor adjustments to the prescribed maintenance intervals based on actual conditions.
